A typical Lanzarote Landscape of vines and fruit trees.

We have cleared the land and created a split level. The top area will have citrus trees, three orange, three lime and three lemon trees. Above them we will plant some Muscatel grape vines, the locals use these for their sweet wine and are very good for eating.

All the vine planting is under the strict supervision of a local Canarian friend who cultivates and makes his own wine in La Geria, Lanzarote’s famous wine growing region. I have already been told off for planting palm trees as they steal the nourishment from the soil.

The lower section of land will have a section for red grapes and another for white grapes called Malvasia. We have also planted a border of Aloe Vera plants.
