Today we are pouring the final concrete for the completion of the basement walls for the second villa. We will also pour all the supporting columns for the first storey. The technical control and quality control technicians visited the site this morning and gave us the ok to pour the concrete.

We have started to backfill the supporting walls. These were first damp-proofed with pitch paint and a special plastic membrane to keep out the water.

The majority of work is now completed on both of these basements. All the shuttering and cardboard columns have been removed and the concrete floor had been laid. We are now preparing the ramp down to the underground car park.

The concrete lorry and concrete pump have arrived to start the first section of wall for the basement. We have started with a twenty six metre section of shuttering. The panels are painted with a product to stop them sticking to the cement. The site has been inspected by Applus the technical control company for the seguro decenal and the quality control have taken the concrete samples they need.
